Dear Readers

I am pained to note that someone called neha agarwal of orange financials is copying my analysis word by word. It is truly unnerving and feels like I have been robbed of my treasure. I really do not know what to do. Can you all come up with suggestions? I really dont want to stop you all from reading my blog but why should i allow someone to rob me?

Sad,

Lakshmi Ramachandran

U can upload a signed chart madam

thanks rajamani.Besides signing I will also have to update the blog just an hour before trading so that no one running paid services like orange financials can make money out of it.

Hello Madam,
Woh they are ripping off everything. Just saw the google groups. Watermarking the charts may help some what, but it won't alone stop them, becoz they can easily copy all the trendlines to their own charts. So better would be to publish charts just before the market opening until you find a solution for this. She has a phone number in the Google Groups messages, call them and tell them not to do it, they may not listen but you never know, just try and see.

thanks rani for forewarning me
greatfirend, sandeep , ananymous thanks for your support. If i call then such nefarious persons will get my phone number and dont know what they can do next. I will weigh all options and do accordingly. thanks once again for being supportive

Dear Lakshmi, I am not an expert in computer software systems to guide you to overcome this type of headaches.

The only thing i can offer you kindheartedly is extending moral support to you.

I am sure you can and will 'SQUEEZE ORANGE' - and Neha should pay for this mis-appropriation.

Regards.

Really its a very shocking incident
one thing you can do is all the graphs and reading should be protected by a password which will be send to all the registered users. The momene some one clicks the charts or reading it should ask for a security password given to all the users and one more thing that tghe services should be made commercial by som kind of fee. I think this as a solution though temporary.Till then we can work out on a more subtle one.

readers , till now the best solution has been signing on the graph and uploading 10 minutes before market opening. Dont like it but dont know what to do. maybe i will do this for some time till neha starts copying from someone else so she learns to analyse without my analysis

Hi Lakshmi,
I have been following your blog for a longtime now.I too find it very useful like everybody else.

Might I ask you something?
What was the first thing that came to your mind when you started this blog?

I think thats the answer for you to continue with this blog.
Even if you try all the ways that others have suggested, you still cant stop her(Neha).
She can always change name and still copy what you have.

Purpose of your blog is to put forwards your understanding of Nifty. If people are making/loosing money, let them.Since you dont take responsibility of their losses, then why to worry about their profits.

My suggestion:
There is one very good thing that you have started in your blog is that now you give both bearish and bullish senarios.(not like a few months back where you talked about predictable outcome bearish or bullish only)
First HIGHLIGHT it even more.
Second dont give conclusion of which direction you expect.

Since that lady is copying everything word by word(obviously she knows nothing of TA), she would be confused and in realtime trading she ll always be in fix.Upon a few losses she ll definitely not use your TA.

Lastly, I m no fan of orange or watever it is...I like your work and 'd advise to keep it going and forget about crooks. Those fools are not trying to learn from your blog rather are creating a dependency on you....Take a break for a week or so..and shock them..haha.

Keep up the good work.

What a tremendous support and followers to you within a short period...It proves lot of silent observers here...

Highlight is YOGI's advise.. haha ask u take a break for a week... what a shock to that lady? oops...

Please ignore these kind of people..as like our KPL...it's better to put your blog address in the middle of the chart in DARK LETTERS,or CAPITAL LETTERS

She can copycat your charts not brain...lolz. which she may not have

Keep your goodwork without any worry/tense... we are with you..

Let us see whether they are asking apology or not?

Regards

giving both bearish and bullish views will confuse all the readers and will dilute the quality.

Lakshmi Ramachandran said...

As i said will upload just before market opens . That should take care of 50% of this unwanted problem. Then with all your feedback will review it after a week. thanks all of you

Dear Lakshmi,

Its not ur problem only, its a big problem for other analysts too. Some people do copy of Vivek Patil too but everybody knows it that it is copied from where? So go with ur sincere work & leave immitators upon mercy of God. They will never learn a single word of technical analysis if try to copy u or others whole life. Dont be let down & keep up ur moral, U r very good.

KUMAR

Dear Lakshmi,
I have seen "NathNifty" written in black bold letters in background of the charts. That way you can also prevent them copying charts. Next, post part only first, conclusion just before market opens.
On reading fine print of blogger documents I remember that the legal right of all material published in blogs goes to them only. Perhaps they are the right people to fight this orange people.
Till then do what is feasible without discarding your genuine fans & well wishers.

It is sad tohear. Black crows are everywhere. In fact your noble cause of educating for technical is unique. Inspite of what ever you do, crooked person will always there. Infact to overcome this your concentration and afforts will get unproductive. May we find some computer expert who can give solution so that yr treasure can't rob. Infact your wealth presently is of helping investor nobally

Dear MS Lakshmi

I have been watching ur blog. Qiute useful. I have seen Elengos charts copied by another site as it is by another firm also supplied to other site as if his own. These shameless peoples never lear. As SS said teach how to fish for a living. Try to put ur logo right in the middle plus upload just before market open say 0955.

warm regards,
KRM

I have been looking your analysis for the past 2 months and I am very impressed by the depth of analysis and details. So much so that before I buy/sell stock futures of high beta stocks -- I check your graphs for the whole week and decide whether to trade with decent stop loss or tight stop loss.

All i can think of is that -- Folks copying you should be quoting you as the legal author of the analysis provided. Or these folks could be prosecuted under some "Content Rights Protection".

I would advise you to talk to a law firm that deals with "Intellectual Property" and I am sure they will have a fair idea of how to proceed in such a case.

As others have suggested -- it would be best to put your analysis 10 minutes before the trade starts. But for folks like me who try to do their "homework" before next day's trade -- it will a painful wait!!

You could try and put a watermark on your graphs
